Abstract The purpose of this study is to develop a new type of analysis technique for various variants of the implementation of a given construction project. The proposed method of analysis is based on a comparison of the graphic form of criteria describing environmental, functional, technological, social and economic requirements, which constitute several alternative concepts of the planned implementation of an exemplary investment (stadium with accompanying infrastructure). The application of the theory of similarity in the calculations allowed to conclude that the selection of the optimal solution variant in the conducted multicriteria analyzes reflects better the intentions of the investor. They are defined by the model's criteria template. The proposed graphical analysis, supported by simple software, is much more friendly and easier to perceive than analytical solutions.
