Key Points Question How did diet quality and cardiometabolic risk factors of Korean adults change from 2007 to 2018? Findings In this cross-sectional analysis of nationally representative data from 65 416 Korean adults from 2007 to 2018, diet quality modestly improved; however, diet quality varied by age and birth cohorts, showing poor diets in younger adults and more recent birth cohorts. Similarly, more recent cohorts had more unfavorable cardiometabolic risk factor profiles. Meaning The findings of this study suggest that more intense interventions are needed to target younger generations to improve diet quality.
