Findings In this systematic review including 852 articles involving 2194 patients with stroke in TBM, the estimated frequency of stroke in TBM was 0.30 (95% CI, 0.26-0.33), and ranged from 0.08 in Saudi Arabia to 0.56 in France. Meaning These results suggest that global trends of stroke occurrence in TBM may have regional or country-specific characteristics that may be associated with disability and mortality in these patients.
