Key Points Question Is participation in a nationwide quality improvement (QI) collaborative, Return-to-Screening, associated with restoration of deficits in cancer screening during the COVID-19 pandemic? Findings In this study, 859 QI projects to improve cancer screening were completed by 786 accredited cancer programs, with the majority (79%) accomplishing the goal of restoring prepandemic volumes and achieving a minimum of 10% growth in screening. Meaning These findings suggest that the Return-to-Screening national collaborative effort was associated with improvements in cancer screening, and such QI endeavors leveraging accreditation infrastructure can be a model for addressing other gaps in cancer care.
