Key Points Question Did wait times increase differentially for Black and Hispanic veterans compared with White veterans receiving care from the US Veterans Health Administration during the COVID-19 pandemic? Findings This cross-sectional study including 1 162 148 US veterans found that wait time disparities increased significantly from the preā€“COVID-19 period to the COVID-19 period for Black and Hispanic veterans. Meaning These results suggest that Black and Hispanic veterans experienced greater access barriers to care compared with their White counterparts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
