Key Points Question Is antenatal COVID-19–related stress associated with postpartum maternal mental health and infant outcomes? Findings In this cohort study of 318 mothers in Australia, the UK, and the US, antenatal COVID-19–related stress was significantly associated with poor postpartum maternal mental health outcomes and increased negative affectivity among infants. Meaning This study suggests that mitigating pandemic-related stressors during pregnancy should be a global public health priority.
