Key Points Question What are the barriers to and enablers of implementing patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) in gender-affirming care? Findings In this systematic review of 286 studies, the main barriers to implementing PROMs in gender-affirming care were issues with evidence strength and quality of the PROM, engaging participants, and complexity of the PROM. Meaning This study’s findings may help to guide PROM implementation initiatives for gender-affirming care with potential generalizability to other clinical areas.
