The molecular model of the PBS-PSII-OCP super-complex was used to assess the rate of energy transfer from PBS to both PSII using the FRET theory, and OCP utilizing the excitonic approach. Our estimates demonstrate that the energy transfer from PBS to PSII is possible through all ApcE, ApcD, and ApcA chromophores present at the bottom surface of PBS adjoined to the thylakoid membrane. There were revealed two specially placed and oriented chlorophyll molecules: #47 in CP43 and #22 in CP47 gathering of about a half of the excitation energy transferred from PBS.
