In article number 1805148, a facile and efficient strategy is developed by Shengqian Ma, Yao Chen, and co-workers for preparation and storage of antibodies using metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) as removable shells with a prominent protection effect. The encapsulated antibodies can be quickly recovered from the MOFs before use, which avoids the introduction of protective additives into the body that may cause biosafety risks. This study demonstrates that MOFs have great potential to serve as versatile platforms for preparation and storage and biopharmaceuticals.
