In article number https://doi.org/10.1002/advs.201903004, Oxana Klementieva and co‐workers investigate amyloid‐β aggregation using optical‐photothermal infrared (O‐PTIR) microscopy below the infrared diffraction limit, at the subcellular level. Their findings suggest that structural polymorphism of amyloid‐β proteins is already present inside the neurons. Targeting the mechanisms leading to these polymorphs could provide new opportunities for novel treatments of Alzheimer's disease.
