It was our pleasure to read the article by Franchi (2020), a medical student and aspiring surgeon, who expressed concerns about the changes in anatomical education, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A remarkable part of the article was devoted to the decline of cadaveric dissection in anatomy curricula, a decline which, according to Franchi (2020), could be detrimental for future surgeons' competency. This opinion was also expressed in the article by Memon (2018), which was cited by Franchi (2020).
