Although guidelines recommend in‐hospital initiation of high‐intensity statin therapy in patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS), low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐C) target levels are frequently not attained. Alirocumab has been demonstrated to be a fast‐acting and efficacious agent for lowering LDL‐C in controlled trials. However, there is a paucity of real‐world evidence concerning its use in patients of Chinese ethnicity with ACS. This real‐world observational study aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of alirocumab in Chinese ACS patients.
