Editor High resolution MRI is used to plan surgery for both benign pelvic floor dysfunction and rectal cancer. Whilst MRI is useful, interpretation of sequenced two-dimensional images can be challenging to comprehend. Threedimensional (3D) radiologically derived models may facilitate better understanding of anatomy and surgical planes.
