Key Points BVS, as compared with DES, have higher stent thrombosis (ST) rates. BVS may prove reasonable in patients with complex anatomy. Future trials will be necessary to guide clinicians regarding whether BVS are equivalent to DES in patients with noncomplex or complex coronary anatomy.
