We report a precise synthesis of heterostructured PdO‐Co3O4 nanorods through an anion exchange and recrystallization process. Such PdO‐Co3O4 nanorods have a more effective catalytic activity and long‐term stability for methane oxidation than PdO/Co3O4 catalysts obtained by conventional approaches. The excellent catalytic properties of PdO‐Co3O4 nanorods are associated with the synergetic effect between PdO and Co3O4, which not only favors the formation of superoxide species but also enhances the redox properties to provide further methane activation capabilities at low temperatures. Meanwhile, PdO embedded in the Co3O4 domain ensures structural stability and an exceptional resistance towards the sintering of the active sites under thermal conditions.
