There is a growing population of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors (ages 15–39 years), and they have an elevated risk of developing cardiovascular disease (CVD). Little is known about the contribution of sociodemographic and modifiable factors to the risk of CVD in AYA survivors and whether these factors differentially modulate their risk compared with that in the general population. The current study sought to fill these gaps.
