We thank Varghese et al. for the interest shown in our article. Their assumptions are nonetheless fractious and factually erroneous, necessitating clarification. The findings of post-liver transplant (LT) allograft biopsies in our cohort of yellow phosphorus (YP) toxin-related liver injury (TLI) was unlike anything observed in other causes of post-LT early allograft dysfunction (EAD).
