cancer specific survival and overall survival respectively were 86%, 71% and 57%. Conclusion: A trend for an improvement in all outcomes was found for patients treated with a DS of 1-3, compared to a DS of 4-5. Given the excellent outcomes in the DS 1-3 patients avoidance of radiotherapy may be appropriate. Some patients with a postchemotherapy DS of 4-5 can be successfully salvaged with radiotherapy alone. This appeared to especially be the case for non double/triple hit DLBCL.
