Nitric oxide (NO) produced by endothelial NO synthase (eNOS) is essential for cardiovascular homeostasis owing to its anti‐inflammatory, antithrombotic, antiproliferative, and antioxidant effects. Perillaldehyde (PAH), one of the major oil components in Perilla frutescens, has anti‐inflammatory effects.
