An efficient and green one-pot method has been developed for the synthesis of amidoalkyl naphthol derivatives using reusable {[1,4-DHPyrazine](OTf)2} as an ionic liquid catalyst via condensation of aromatic aldehydes, β-naphthol and various amides under solvent-free conditions.
