Sequence of the formative stage, immature stage, mature stage (if any), decaying or transformation stage, lifetime maximum intensity (LMI), and lifetime maximum size (LMS) for the three types of TC life cycles. T(LMI) and T(LMS) show the times of LMI and LMS, respectively. Only the A type contains the mature stage. The TC reaching LMI or LMS in the extratropical portion of a life cycle is not considered here.
