Patients with pleomorphic lobular carcinoma were not included in our cohort as pleomorphic histology is categorized separately from other histological types in the National Cancer Database (NCDB), specifically within histology codes 8022 (Pleomorphic Carcinoma) and 8940 (Malignant Mixed Tumor, NOS). 2. Of the 15 573 patients in our cohort, 43% had a combination of invasive lobular and ductal carcinoma, with similar rates of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) and adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT) receipt among this group and those with pure lobular histology:
