Dear Editor, Thank you very much for Dr. Sakai's letter entitled “Evidence of lymph flow amelioration on indocyanine green lymphography after vascularized lymph node transfer” for the comments on the paper “Morbidity of marginal mandibular nerve post vascularized node flap transplantation” by Chang et al. (J Surg Oncol. 2020 Dec;122(8):1747–1754). The author presented an interesting case of preoperative and postoperative indocyanine green lymphography after vascularized axillary lymph node transfer. However, this finding is not relevant to the topic, donor lymph node basin, and conclusion of the previously published paper, which was focused on the safety of the submental lymph node flap's donor site. Many thanks. Ming‐Huei Cheng MD, MBA, FACS
