Gastric cancer (GC) remains responsible for over one million new cases in 2020. Activated platelets express the CD40 ligand (CD40L) and CD62P in the cytoplasmic membrane, and interaction with the vascular endothelium can induce the production of tumor growth factors and metastases. We aimed to characterize the soluble levels of sCD40L and sCD62P in GC patients.
