We read with interest the article published by Kim J et al [1] over utility of Indo-cyanine green near infra-red technology (ICG) in demarcating the exact midplane during laparoscopic donor hepatectomy. The authors concluded that the technology benefit by lowering the peak AST/ALT levels and reduced operative times over which we would like to share some contrary observations based on our experience with similar kind of data for the reader's benefit.
