Hemidystonia-hemiatrophy syndrome (HD-HA) is a rare disorder characterized by hemiparesis, hemidystonia (HD), and hemiatrophy (HA). The syndrome is part of a spectrum of movement disorders composed of asymmetrical dystonia, with or without parkinsonism, and body hemiatrophy, associated or not associated to contralateral cerebral hemisphere atrophy, seen on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). In this article we report on and present a video of a patient with HD-HA who underwent a tractography study.
