We propose design of tunable high sensitive absorber for infrared spectrum using graphene layer. Proposed absorber structure is tunable over near‐infrared region of 900‐1000 nm. Tunability of reflector is achieved by different chemical potential of graphene. Parameters like absorption and reflectance of the design has been analyzed for varying chemical potential of graphene. Maximum absorption of 99.2% for chemical potential of 0.4 eV at 955.5 nm has been observed. Such features of the design can be implemented for applications like biomedical sensor and optical communication.
