I read with interest the article published in Prenatal Diagnosis entitled, “Utility of novel fetal echocardiographic morphometric measures of the aortic arch in the diagnosis of neonatal coarctation of the aorta.” This study was recently part of a meta‐analysis reviewing several ultrasound approaches to prenatally detect coarctation of the aorta (CoA) and was ranked as having the highest sensitivity (95%) and specificity (100%) among the reviewed studies.
