A 31‐year‐old woman at 32 weeks of gestation was referred to our hospital for polyhydramnios and fetal small bowel dilatation (Movie S1). The stomach was normal in size and location (Figure 1). Amniotic fluid electrolytes were measured: Na: 122 mmol/L (128.5– 132.7), Cl: 101 mmol/L (107.2–112.5), osmolarity: 240 mosmol/L (259.62 ± 15.34). As congenital chloride diarrhea is associated with high electrolyte levels, this diagnosis was excluded. The woman had a term normal vaginal birth of a 3420 g female. The newborn was
