White (2016), AW hereafter, in his Comment to Persson (2014), AP hereafter, is right to point out the absence of a reaction force in figure 5 in AP. This was, however, by design, so as not to overburden figures with vectors. This seems to be in line with a common practice, see. e.g. figure 1.5 in Holton-Hakim (2012).
