This article concerns with the synthesis of L2‐gain state feedback controllers, without the standard regular assumption, for multi‐input switched nonlinear control‐affine systems under arbitrary switching. A common control storage function approach is developed for deriving sufficient conditions for the existence of uniform L2‐gain controllers. Moreover, an explicit formula for constructing L2‐gain controllers is presented. A numerical example is given for illustration.
