AbstractAortic anastomotic leakage is an inevitable but intractable complication of surgery for type A dissection. The treatment has been mostly surgical with a high rate of morbidity and mortality. We describe a 54-year-old patient with anastomotic leakage after his secondary surgery for type A dissection. The leakage located at the proximal site of the stent-graft and fed the false lumen. We have performed a complete occlusion by transcatheter closure using Amplatzer Duct Occluder II.
