The corresponding author Professor Xia-Ting Feng, chairman of the ISRM working group, has requested the editor in chief of the RMRE journal to retract this ISRM Suggested Method, published on the RMRE Online-First on 31 July 2017. This followed the notification received by the chief editor from Professor Bezalel Haimson, coauthor of this ISRM Suggested Method, in which he objected to being listed as co-author, stating that he had not seen the manuscript and had not been asked to co-author it. It is to be noted that the RMRE Journal publishes the ISRM Suggested Methods as received from the president of the ISRM Commission on Testing Methods, Professor Resat Ulusay, after the approval for publication by the ISRM Board. The RMRE journal is in no way involved in the review process of the ISRM Suggested Methods.
