Williams syndrome (WS) is a rare developmental disorder without clear support methods. The purpose of this pilot study was to examine the effectiveness of dance/movement therapy (DMT) for improving the stability, dynamic balance, muscle strength, and internal changes using objective outcome measurements in children with WS. In this pilot study, four participants with WS, aged 5 to 10 years old, completed 10 DMT sessions. We used posturography to test static balance, timed up and go to test dynamic balance, a hand-held dynamometer was used to test lower limb muscle strength, and a child behavior checklist filled out by the parents was used to test the children’s emotional health and behavior.
