The strengths model for case management, initially designed for adults, has been modified for work with youth. The adapted model was piloted in a community mental health center in a Midwestern state with youth aged 12–18. Interviews were conducted with case managers and supervisors to gain insight about the implementation process and how the model impacted them and their work with youth. Qualitative analysis revealed themes and subthemes organized into three overarching topics: Impact on organizational process and culture, impact on the provision of direct services, and adaptations of Strengths Model for Youth. Findings indicate overall satisfaction with the model.
