One new macrolide myxotrilactone A (1), along with six known compounds (2–7), were isolated from the extract of solid-substrate cultures of the endolichenic fungus Myxotrichum sp. by various chromatography methods. The planar structure of compound 1 was determined by HR-ESI-MS and NMR data, and its relative and absolute configurations were established by NOESY experiment and comparison with the known compound 2. Selected isolates were evaluated for their allelopathic activities, and compounds 1 and 2 significantly retarded shoot elongation of Arabidopsis thaliana.
