Rockburst induced by large fault and hard roof in multi-seam mining is a common problem in underground mining. In this paper, the rule of rockburst is analyzed from three aspects: influence distance of fault structure, spatial structure under the influence of faults, spatial structure of overburden and mutual disturbance of multi-layer hard roof. According to the microseismic monitoring data of the rockburst accident in working face named LW62184, the hard rock strata which have the main impact on the rockburst risk are determined. The comprehensive control work of rockburst is carried out from four aspects: weakening dynamic load, reducing static load, upgrade support strength, and improving the monitoring and warning of rockburst. According to these principles, the prevention and control measures of rockburst have been carried out in the field, which has good effect and is of great significance for reference.
