The paper discuses mainly P-E and M-H hysteresis loops and magnetoelectric effect in Ba0.8−xSrxPb0.2TiO3 (BSPTx)–La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 (LSMO) composites. BSPTx powder is synthesized using solid state reaction method while, LSMO is synthesized using hydroxide co-precipitation route. The (BSPTx–LSMO) composites are prepared by mixing the respective powder in their weight proportion and sintering at 1100 °C. The resulting composites are investigated for crystal structure, microstructure, dielectric properties and magnetoelectric coupling. The results are understood employing qualitative approach.
