Simultaneous substitution of Y3+ and Sr2+ ions into the HA. Synthesized different amounts of Y3+ with Sr2+ co-substituted HA nanoparticles using sol–gel method. Synthesized samples were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, FE-SEM, TEM, EDAX, crystallinity, phase composition, dielectric and electrical properties. The XRD and TEM investigations confirm the 450 crystallinity and particle size and were decreased by the substitution of Y3+ content in the Y/Sr-HA sample. The Y/Sr-HA sample exhibits 81% cell viability even at a concentration of 200 ig mL 440–1. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss were decreased with increasing frequency as well as addition of yttrium content.
