Polymers and polymeric composite materials have steadily reflected their importance in our daily life. In the present paper, various thermal properties of ABS/PA6 polymer blend have been studied using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The obtained results from DSC analysis showed no variation in glass transition temperature (Tg) of ABS in the blend, indicating the immiscibility of the blend. Also depression in melting temperature (Tm) of PA6 in the blend is found. Enthalpy of melting and crystallinity of the blends decreases linearly with the increase in ABS content. Also, the variations in specific heat capacity (Cp) with temperature of the blend for different blend ratios have been measured. It is found that the specific heat capacity of the blend in the solid state, i.e. before melting, is a linear function of temperature.
