On the basis of the Orowan and Motto–Nabarro models, we establish dependences of hardening of the zone of internal nitriding on the volume fraction of nitrides and carbides of alloying elements, their diameters, and the distance between them. Diffusion layers with maximum characteristics of strength are formed by alloying and control over the morphology and geometry of precipitation of nitrides.
