We propose to use inhibitors of natural origin, namely, rhamnolipids, surfactants, and extracts of plant raw materials to increase the sanitary safety of lubricoolants. It is shown that, for a concentration of 0.8 g/liter, they protect 20 steel in a 5% lubricoolant solution by 74–77% and copper by 44–69%, whereas the commercial inhibitor based on amines protects 20 steel by 96% but facilitates the corrosion of copper. It is shown that rhamnolipids, surfactants, and extracts of plant raw materials are inhibitors of mixed action. In the presence of these inhibitors, the corrosion currents on 20 steel and copper correlate with the corrosion rates obtained gravimetrically.
