We investigate the corrosion behavior of the nitrided and oxynitrided Ti–6Al–4V alloy in Ringer’s solution (simulated body liquid) at a temperature of 37°C. It is shown that corrosion resistance of the alloy is improved in both cases: the corrosion current density decreases, the polarization resistance increases, and the corrosion potential becomes nobler.
