We analyze the corrosion resistance of the austenitic immunity steel used in the manufacturing of dental instrument. To reproduce the conditions of influence of disinfectant medium, the samples of the investigated material are first held in tap water at room temperature and then in a Desco Bohrerbad disinfectant aqueous solution. It is shown that the increase in the time of holding of the Immunity steel in Desco Bohrerbad solution intensifies the corrosion processes.
