We develop and study a method and an experimental induction installation for the regulation of temperatures of rough vessels aimed at the stabilization of the mechanical properties of finishing thin-walled steel vessels in the course of processing on a rolling-press line (RPL). We analyze the efficiency of the method and the device used for the equalization of temperature of nonuniformly heated steel vessels after screw rolling with regard for the subsequent decrease in temperature in the course of calibration of the vessel in a horizontal press of the RPL. The changes in the mechanical properties and microstructure were determined with regard for the temperature stabilization of vessels made of 50 steel at the exit of rolling-press line of the “NPO Pribor” JSC.
