The dynamic behavior of aluminum beams strengthened by carbon/epoxy composite coats under the action of moving loads at a constant speed has been investigated in this study. Different configurations of the beams were considered for different load speeds. The equation of motion of the beams was solved analytically using the modal superposition method. The results obtained showed that the composite coats improved the damping capacity of the isotropic aluminum beams.
