A (3 + 1)-dimensional N-coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation with spatially modulated quintic nonlinearity in the presence of transverse modulation is studied, and bright and dark vector multipole and vortex soliton solutions are derived. As an example, the case of two components is discussed. When the modulation depth q is chosen as 0 and 1, bright and dark vector multipole and vortex solitons are constructed, respectively. Moreover, a detailed study of the structural properties of bright and dark vector multipole and vortex solitons is performed.
