The decision to rescind Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) will have major repercussions amongst beneficiaries, especially in terms of employment. One of the sectors that will be impacted is the education field because many DACA recipients opted to pursue careers in Education. This paper centers the biographical counterstories of four Latina/o DAcamented preand in-service teachers to examine how they rationalized their decision to pursue careers as teachers and their articulations of pedagogical dispositions. There is much that will be lost besides an educational worker to students, schools, and communities with the decision to rescind DACA.
