Indeed, different databases purchased by different institutes or schools will lead to varying searching results. Moreover, the data in Web of Science is often updated; for example, the results obtained today may be different from the results yesterday using the same keywords, not to mention the comparison of current data with previous data results. Professor Ho pointed out that BOnly 1,331 English articles include (contaminated soil, soil contamination*, soil pollution*, or polluted soil), and any of (remediat*, control*, recover*, repair*, and *remediation) in their ‘front page.’^ However, it is unclear to us how Professor Homade this conclusion and received a total number of 1331 papers. As always, we kept all the original data and reexamined it as needed. Almost all of the records are related to the topic. Although a few unrelated articles fall into our collection, we considered these records as scientific errors and we assure it will not affect the emergence of the overall results as we discussed in most of our publications.
