We introduce and study the notion of the $$\left( \sigma ,y\right) $$ σ , y -conjugate of a proper $$\sigma $$ σ -convex function. Some relations between the $$\sigma $$ σ -subdifferentials and the Clarke–Rockafellar subdifferential are established. Also, we present some results regarding the $$\sigma $$ σ -monotonicity of the $$\sigma $$ σ -subdifferential of a function and its $$\sigma $$ σ -convexity. Moreover, we obtain some particular relationships between the $$\sigma $$ σ -subdifferential and the $$\left( \sigma ,y\right) $$ σ , y -conjugate.
